After you bring your Pomeranian fur ball home and she or he starts to look a little scruffy and appears to be loosing their hair, do not be alarmed. This is a perfectly normal stage of the Pomeranian’s life before their beautiful double adult coat grows in.
Most Pomeranian pups will enter this stage between 4-8 months old. The phase will end when your Pomeranian pup is 10-14 months old.
Do not stop brushing and bathing your Pomeranian. They are going to loose their hair regardless and they need to be kept clean.
Also, provide your Pomeranian with a soft doggie bed, as they can develop sore spots from hard surfaces.
